One of the most generous and long standing supporters of the Quiet Lion Tours, is Ramsay Health Care through their Hollywood Hospital and their C.E.O, Mr Kevin Cass-Ryall.

Since 1997 Hollywood Hospital have sponsored, and met the costs of, two nurses to attend our tour each year, the exception being1999 when our numbers were restricted.

As there has always been keen interest from nursing staff at Hollywood for the two sought after positions available, a Hospital selection panel interviews and selects the candidates.

In both 1997 and 1998 Patricia Gurney and Sandra Howell not only represented Hollywood Hospital but both nurses served on the Management Committee of the Quiet Lion Tour organisation.

We at the Burma Thailand Railway Memorial Association pay tribute to the Hospital and staff for their support, not only to our organisation but also to the Ex Prisoners Of War who are always treated with great care and tenderness by the staff.

We have pleasure in listing the names of the wonderful nurses who have shared the emotions and the experiences with us Ex POWS and participants on our annual Anzac Pilgrimages.
